Clashindarroch II Wind Farm

A 14 turbine onshore wind farm planned in Aberdeenshire.

About the project

Clashindarroch II will be located in Aberdeenshire. A final investment decision has been confirmed for the project, which will now start preparation works ahead of main construction work - which is expected to start in Spring 2026.

The project's 14 turbines are expected to produce enough electricity to meet the equivalent demand of around 61,566 households (calculated according to Rewnewable UK ‘Homes powered equivalent’ methodology).

Local Communities

Since the existing Clashindarroch wind farm began operating, over £2 million has been made available to support local groups.

Clashindarroch II will additionally bring around £315,000 per annum in community benefit funding. We will be working closely with the local community to make sure that plans for the package are in line with community prioriites and needs.
