About the wind farm

Clashindarroch is an 18 turbine wind farm project in Aberdeenshire. We work closely with local communities to make sure we are supporting the area and developing projects that bring lasting, sustainable benefits to current residents and future generations.

Supporting the Community

Since the wind farm began operating, over £2 million has been made available to support local groups — and funding is still open for new projects.

Any group or organisation in Huntly, Strathbogie, Cabrath and Tap O'Noth can apply to Clashindarroch Wind Farm Fund, which is run by Foundation Scotland on behalf of Vattenfall.
