Where would the Chatteris Wind Farm be located?
The proposed Chatteris Wind Farm would be located on land to the south of Chatteris, and west of Sutton and Mepal. It would sit on the borders of Fenland District Council and East Cambridgeshire District Council.

Expected Timeline
At what stage is the project?
The project has submitted a request for Scoping Opinion to the Planning Inspectorate. This follows early survey work, including seasonal surveys and feasibility work.
Once feedback on the proposed survey and assessment work has been received, work will progress on detailed technical assesment and environmental studies. This will inform detailed design work to develop a site layout, visualisations, transport and access proposals and plans for any mitigation and biodiversity plans.

As the projects are at an early stage of development, detailed design information is not yet available. However, we are keen to engage with local communities and stakeholders to introduce the projects and gather early feedback.
