Adlingfleet Wind Farm

We are in the early stages of exploring the potential for Adlingfleet Wind Farm - which would be located to the west of the village of Adlingfleet and to the east of the town of Goole, crossing the administrative boundary between the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

We are currently at the scoping stage of project development. This means that we are defining our approach to early environmental and technical work and beginning our stakeholder engagement. An indicative project timeline can be found below. 

About the project 

The site would consist of a maximum of 8 wind turbines, each with a maximum blade tip height of 200 metres and a combined installed capacity of approximately 56 megawatts (MW). The site would also host supporting electrical infrastructure, including an on-site substation and a battery energy storage system.

As part of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process, we will be undertaking important environmental assessments and speaking with key stakeholders to understand more about the proposed site and the surrounding landscape. The EIA process is designed to protect the environment by assessing the likely significant environmental impacts of the project.

This work began with identifying a proposed site and producing a Scoping Report, which we shared with the local planning authorities for consideration in September 2026.

Over the coming months, we will also be engaging with near neighbours and key stakeholders to introduce the proposed project and answer early questions. This early work, paired with wider community engagement, will help us to design an inclusive and informative public consultation, and also learn more about what is  important to local people.

Scoping Report 

In September 2026, we submitted a Scoping Report to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and North Lincolnshire Council on the proposed scope of our environmental survey work, and invited feedback to help inform ongoing assessments.
