Vattenfall’s second quarter 2008:
Stable results
Vattenfall shows a continued stable trend for second quarter 2008. During the second quarter 2008, consolidated net sales rose 9.9% to SEK 35,259 million (32,077). Operating profit rose 11.4% to SEK 6,316 million (5,672), mainly attributable to Business Group Nordic, which reported a significant earnings improvement for its Generation business unit.
