National Geographic Society
Vattenfall’s partnership with the National Geographic Society is part of our Group-wide effort to spread knowledge about and create engagement in climate change. There are two main elements to the cooperation between Vattenfall and National Geographic – a pan-European school competition and a multi-media partnership.
World Childhood Foundation
Vattenfall is also a major partner to the World Childhood Foundation, the humanitarian organisation working to defend the rights of the child and to promote better living conditions for vulnerable and exploited children at risk across the world. By supporting the World Childhood Foundation we at Vattenfall can help give more children the opportunity to develop into strong, secure and responsible human beings. H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden founded the World Childhood Foundation in 1999.
