CSR report
Every year, Vattenfall publishes a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report that follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.
The CSR report provides information that enables you to examine how well we have met society’s expectations, so you can assess our performance from an environmental, social and economic perspective.
The 2006 CSR Report is available to order in print format or to download from this site.
The 2006 CSR Report comprises of three sections:
Section One: What we want
Our CSR vision, ambitions and role in society.
Section Two: What we are doing
How we manage six principal CSR issues in terms of operational and strategic measures, together with research and development.
Section Three: What we have achieved
Our environmental, social and economic performance reported through the GRI framework.
What is GRI?
GRI issues Sustainability Reporting Guidelines that are for voluntary use by organisations for reporting on the environmental, social and economic dimensions of their activities, products and services. The 2002 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines are the world’s most widely accepted standard for sustainability reporting, with more than 1000 companies using the guidelines worldwide.
