Onshore Transmission Works planning application & Environmental Report
Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm Limited (AOWFL) is seeking planning permission for onshore transmission works at Blackdog in Aberdeenshire to facilitate the export of electrical power generated from the AOWF to the national electricity transmission system (NETS).
A planning application for the works was submitted in December 2012 and is now being considered by the authorities and key stakeholders.
A comprehensive environmental appraisal has been conducted to support the planning application and the resultant Environmental Report was submitted to Aberdeenshire Council alongside the planning application.
