At the same time, new capacity is being added, especially in renewable energy generation, which has led to low electricity prices.

Business boost as Kentish Flats Extension gets go ahead from Government

Vattenfall’s up to 17 turbine offshore wind farm programmed to start construction in 2015. The consent means that Vattenfall can step up its engagement with the local and UK supply chains as it develops a forward programme for installation and operation.
