Wind energy projects in United Kingdom

In taking projects forward Vattenfall will build on 100-years of responsible energy development and operation across
Northern Europe.

This responsibility includes effective community engagement which listens to the whole community and leads to the development of the best possible wind farms. This effective engagement goes beyond just building a wind farm but is a commitment to be a good neighbour for the lifetime of any project Vattenfall operates.

Vattenfall makes major investment in UK aviation infrastructure

Vattenfall is part of a group along with National Air Traffic Services (NATS) and SSE to roll out a technical fix to help unlock gigawatts of wind farm capacity stalled by unresolved objections. If you want to find out more please go to the NATS website.

This follows Vattenfall’s recent investment in radar mitigation at Manston Airport in Kent to enable construction of its Kentish Flats Extension. You can see more on that here.
