Clashindarroch II Wind Farm
A 14 turbine onshore wind farm under construction in Aberdeenshire.
About the project
Construction of Clashindarroch II is now underway . This work will include construction of access tracks, turbine foundations and hardstandings to ready the site for turbine installation. It is expected that the site will become operational later in 2027.
Once operational, the project’s 14 turbines are expected to generate electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of around 61,566 UK homes, based on RenewableUK’s ‘Homes powered equivalent’ methodology.
(calculated according to Renewable UK ‘Homes powered equivalent’ methodology).

Reducing emissions across our supply chain
As part of our work to reduce the emissions across our value chain, Clashindarroch II will be utilising:
- Low emissions steel turbine towers
- Recycled steel in the turbine foundations and rebar
- GVO fuel onsite
- Concrete with 50–70% GGBS (ground granulated blast furnace slag) to reduce cement emissions
Interested in working on the project?
There will be many work opportunities onsite over the coming months. If you are interested in these, please email us on the address below.
Working with the local community
Over the coming months we will be working with the local community to develop the project's community benefit package, which is worth £315,000 annually.
